Make sure replacement leaf spring has no color mark on dot between the two mounting holes, and has a thickness of 0.063 inch (1.6 mm). This leaf spring will be correct for rated speed of 2500 to 3000 rpm. If replacement leaf spring has a red, white, or yellow color dot, do not use it. 28. Governor Install governor leaf spring on shaft. Tighten leaf leaf spring spring hex bolts securely. 6-33
