Visually inspect all skid welds for cracks. Inspect
only those welds that can be seen without
disassembly.
Check that warning plates can be read.
If sufficient clearance is available, check that drain
holes are not blocked.
Check for indications of corrosion on skin crossmember
around fuel tank assembly.
Check for indications of corrosion in areas between
all mated parts.
Check condition of paint. Paint shall be in good
condition with no bare metal or corrosion. Bare or
corroded metal shall be refinished as soon as
possible in accordance with MI L-T-704.
