TM 5-4320-300-14 4-24. SPEED REGULATING THROTTLE CABLE (CONT) Location/Item Action Remarks 7. Throttle cable Depress pushbutton and control push throttle cable control in all the way to expose the ball. 8. Throttle cable Connect ball with socket on lower portion of (lower portion) throttle cable, and tighten swivel nut. NOTE As engine speed is set, the throttle cable pushbutton will be pulled upward. Make sure that the set height of throttle cable upper portion will not block the tachometer when pushbutton is raised. 9. Throttle cable Tighten lower jam nut on upper portion of (upper portion) throttle cable at control panel mounting hole. 10. Throttle cable Slide into slot on engine (lower portion) mounting bracket and tighten jam nuts and lockwashers on each side. 11. Throttle cable Insert threaded seg- adaptor ment into governor throttle shaft assembly, insert washer, and tighten nut. 4-113
