The filter is located on the left lower side of engine. Inspect filter adaptor on the engine for nicks, burrs, or other damage. Before installing new filter cartridge, coat filter gasket with oil and wipe off filter adaptor before screwing the filter cartridge on hand tight. Run engine for a few minutes and check for filter leaks. Retighten by hand if necessary. 4-13
