Diaphragm.
Check that diaphragm is not torn. Replace a torn diaphragm in
accordance with paragraph 4-21.

Gear reducer
Check that cap screws and nuts holding gear reducer to frame
screws. are tight.

Gear reducer.
Check that gear reducer runs quietly and without restriction.
Replace the gear reducer in accordance with paragraph 4-26
if it is noisy or if shaft rotation is restricted.

Gear reducer.
Check that gear reducer oil has been changed at required
interval. See LO 5-4320-275-12 (figure 4-1).
