6.
Clean area around engine oil fill cap (Figure 1, Item 3) with clean, cleaning cloth.
7.
Remove engine oil fill cap (Figure 1, Item 3).
CAUTION
Do not overfill the engine crankcase lubricating oil system. Failure to comply may result in
damage to equipment.
8.
Add engine oil as required.
9.
Install engine oil dipstick (Figure 1, Item 1) into dipstick tube (Figure 1, Item 2).
10.
Remove engine oil dipstick (Figure 1, Item 1) from dipstick tube (Figure 1, Item 2).
11.
Check engine oil level (Figure 1, Item 4) on engine oil dipstick (Figure 1, Item 1); oil must be between ADD
line and FULL line.
12.
Install engine oil fill cap (Figure 1, Item 3).
13.
Clean area around engine oil fill cap (Figure 1, Item 3) with clean, cleaning cloth.
