Verify if Low Fuel Telltale and/or fuel gauge indicates low fuel (Figure 2).

Position ignition switch to Off position (Figure 2).
a.
If Low Fuel Telltale is illuminated and fuel gauge reads low, fill fuel tank to appropriate
level with clean fuel (Volume 1, WP 0014). Verify if engine starts (Volume 1, WP 0012). If
fuel tank was run empty, and problem persists, proceed to next MALFUNCTION - Fuel
system requires priming.
b.
If fuel gauge does not read low, proceed to MALFUNCTION - Fuel level in fuel tank low.

Fuel system requires priming.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
CAUTION
Do not operate fuel system primer switch for longer than 30 seconds without
allowing for cooling time. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.

Push and hold fuel system primer switch for 10 to 30 seconds (Figure 3).
