Positive battery cable length is 30 inches (76.20 cm). b . Negative battery cable length is 16 inches (40.64 cm). Strip 0.500 inches (1.27 cm) of insulation from each end of battery cable. Heat cable terminal; fill with solder. Insert battery cable into terminal and let connection cool. Insert cable into lug; crimp lug. Wrap battery cable and terminal connections in electrical tape.
