4.4.20.1 Removal.

Tag all crankshaft bearing cap mounting bolts.
Remove fourteen bolts (Figure 4-36, 1) and flat washers (2).
Tag and remove seven bearing caps (3) and lower bearings (4).
Discard
bearings (4).
Using sling, remove crankshaft assembly (5).
Remove two stop rings (6 and 7).
Discard stop rings (6 and 7)
Tag and remove fourteen dowels (8).
Remove and discard seven upper bearings (9).
Remove and discard spring pin (10).
Remove six plugs (11) and flat washers (12).
Remove crankshaft gear (13) and dowel (14).
Discard crankshaft gear (13) and
dowel (14).
