Controls or indicators
Function

MANUAL THROTTLE
Used to control engine speed when AUTO THROTTLE
switch is in MANUAL position.
2.
AUTO DISABLE
Used to disable governor system when manual engine
operation is desired.
3.
ETHER START
Used to start engine in cold temperatures by injecting
starting fluid from a bottle stowed in the engine
compartment into the engine air intake line. Handle is
pulled to inject one shot of ether into the engine air intake
line The handle is pushed in to reset the cold start aid
system.
4.
AIR FILTER Gage
Indicates air filter restriction Air filter needs servicing
when air filter gage indicates 20 Reset button on gage is
used to reset gage after air cleaner has been serviced.
