Exhaust system is very hot during operation. Avoid
contact with muffler and related components during
checks described In this section. Before touching
portions of the exhaust system, make sure that
e q u i p m e n t h a s c o o l e d .
Check to make sure exhaust pipe (1) is installed and
tight.
Inspect for dogged or damaged spark arrestor.
