Pulley installation tool
Water pump drive belt
Slide hammer (Item 2, Appendix B)
Fuel pump drive oil seal mandrel (Item 30.
Fan drive belt removed
Inside micrometer, 1 - 2 inch (Item 4, Appendix B)
Fan guard removed
Outside micrometer, 1 - 2 inch (Item 36,
Fuel pump removed
Grease (Item 13, Appendix C)
Antiseize tape (Item 21, Appendix C)
Emery cloth (Item 2, Appendix C)
Crocus abrasive cloth (Item 1, Appendix C)
Grease (Item 16, Appendix C)
Dry cleaning solvent (Item 30, Appendix C)
Accessory drive oil seal
Rotate crankshaft until the A mark (1) on accessory
drive pulley (2) is aligned with pointer (3) on gear
Remove nut (4) and key (5).
Use standard wheel puller to remove accessory drive
Copper jaws must be used in the vise to
prevent damage to the pulley.
Put accessory drive pulley (2) into vise.
