WARNING
Severe burns, illness, or death may result if personnel fail
to handle diesel fuel oil properly. Observe the following
precautions:
Do not inhale vapor.
Do not handle fuel near open flame, sparks, or excessive
heat.
Work in a well-ventilated area.
CAUTION
The fuel injection system is extremely intricate and com-
plex. All possible care should be taken in the removal,
inspection, testing, and reassembly of these components.
While handling the fuel injector, be extremely careful not
to touch the nozzle or the pin assembly on the nozzle end.
1. Retainers
Remove hex nuts and retainers.
