SECTION II. EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION
1.10.1 Pumping AssemblY, Model 609-A.
1.10.1.1 Characteristics.
The Model 609-A Pumping Assembly is a diesel engine driven
centrifugal pump mounted on a two wheel trailer.
The trailer has two tail lights
that are controlled by the towing vehicle.
The trailer is equipped with an
inertia-actuated hydraulic brake system.
It also has a manually operated park
brake for each wheel.
Control of each park brake is independent of the other.
The
trailer has two jacks at the rear and a tongue jack at the front.
The jacks
prevent the trailer from tipping when disconnected from the towing vehicle.
1.10.1.2 Capabilities and Features.
Output volume:
600 gpm at 350 ft tdh.
Can be operated in manual or electric manual mode.
Can be used as source pump or boost pump.
1.10.2 Pumping Assembly, Model 609-C.
1.10.2.1 Characteristics. The Model 609-C Pumping Assembly is a diesel engine driven
centrifugal pump mounted on a two wheel trailer.
The trailer has clearance lights
and two tail lights that are controlled by the towing vehicle.
The trailer is
equipped with an inertia-actuated hydraulic brake system.
It also has a manually
operated park brakes.
A single lever is used to control the park brakes on both
wheels.
The trailer has two jacks at the rear and a tongue jack at the front.
The
jacks prevent the trailer from tipping when disconnected from the towing vehicle.
