Avoid repeated and prolonged breathing of vapors and skincontact with the liquid. Do not use near open flame, arcing equipment, orother ignition sources. Always wear eye protection and protective clothing.The flash point of P-D-680 is 100°F to 138°F (38°C to 59°C).Death or serious injury could occur if compressed air is directed against theskin. Do not use compressed air for cleaning or drying unless the pressureis/has been reduced to 30 psi (2.06 bar) or less. When working withcompressed air always use chip guards, eye protection, and other personalequipment.3Using dry cleaning solvent and a stiff-bristled brush, clean threaded hole thoroughly.4Using clean compressed air at 30 psi (2.06 bar) maximum discharge pressure, blow out threaded hole to make surethat all solvent has been removed and no particles are left in the hole.5Coat new insert (1) with zinc chromate primer coating.6Insert each new insert to a depth of 1 to 1.5 pitches below the top surface of the tapped hole in the pump housing(2). Wipe off excess primer.7Remove drive tang from installed insert.5-5
