Slide packing gland (12) onto stem (17).

Position spring (11) over gland and install packing nut (10).

Place hand wheel (9) and plate (8) on stem (17) and secure with nut (7).

Install new gasket (6) on studs (3) of manifold (4).
b.
Install gate valve (5) on studs (3) of manifold (4).
c.
Install eight lockwashers (2) and thread eight nuts (1) on studs (3) of
manifold (4).
