4-16. General
Starting is accomplished by using a rope and
rope pulley. The engine flywheel is inclosed by the
air shroud. The flywheel acts as a fan, forcing
into the air shroud which distributes this cooling air
around the crankcase and cylinder head.
4-17. Starter Pulley
a. Removal. Refer to figure 4-6 and remove the
starter pulley.
