HIGH COMPRESSOR DISCHARGE TEMPERATURE - PAC - Continued
CORRECTIVE ACTION - Continued
WARNING
Do not direct compressed air towards yourself or others. Wear goggles or
safety glasses, hearing protection, and protective clothing when working
around compressed air systems or equipment. Failure to comply may result
in injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an
injury.
CAUTION
Use low air pressure when cleaning air filter(s) and/or radiator(s). When
using water, use low pressure to clean radiator. Failure to comply may result
in damage to equipment.
b.
If excessively dirty, clean with compressed air, water, and/or degreaser. Ensure to blow
compressed air in opposite direction of air flow when cleaning. Start engine and verify if
compressor discharge temperature returns to normal (Volume 1, WP 0059).
c.
If not excessively dirty or restricted, proceed to next Malfunction - Compressor fault code
present.
MALFUNCTION
Compressor fault code present.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
a.
If compressor fault code(s) are present, follow instructions given in compressor fault code
b.
If compressor fault code(s) are not present, proceed to next Malfunction - Ambient air
temperature greater than 115F (46C).
MALFUNCTION
Ambient air temperature greater than 115F (46C).
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Verify if ambient temperature where PAC is operating is greater than 115F (46C).
a.
If ambient temperature is greater than 115F (46C), wait until ambient temperature is less
than 115F (46C). Start engine and verify if compressor discharge temperature returns to
normal (Volume 1, WP 0059).
b.
If ambient temperature is less than 115F (46C), notify maintenance.
