Tag diode at left terminal.
Tag wires (Figure 2-49, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5) and diode (6) connected to start
alarm relay (7).
Remove nut (8), lock washer (9), wire (1), nut (10), lock washer (11), and
flat washer (12).
Discard lock washers (9 and 11).
Remove nut (13), lock washer (14), wire (5), diode (6), nut (15), lock washer
(16), and flat washer (17).
Discard lock washers (14 and 16).
Remove nut (18), lock washer (19), wire (4), diode (6), nut (20), lock washer
(21), and flat washer (22).
Discard lock washers (19 and 21).
Remove nut (23), lock washer (24), wires (2 and 3), nut (25), lock washer
(26), and flat washer (27).
Discard lock washers (24 and 26).
Remove two nuts (28), lock washers (29), flat washers (30), bolts (31), flat
washers (32), and one wire (5).
Discard lock washers (29).
Remove start alarm relay (7) from engine mounting bracket (33).
