Check and tighten as required, loose backhead and housing mounting bolts.

Remove housing. Check for loose or damaged diffuser and/or impeller (para 4-14).
Step 3.
Replace damaged component parts.
7. PUMP OUTPUT LOW
Step 1. Check that engine speed is properly adjusted.
Replace/adjust throttle control (para 4-21).
